What did you find engaging and why?

1.The art of fist impressions - in design and life.

Among the design methods, it was interesting to see an example of an abstract design that allows the audience to see, imagine, and infer, and an example of a straightforward design that can recognize the meaning at a glance.

To take the cover of a book on the digestive system as an example, designer open his mouths wide every morning to observe the color of their tongues and then guess their health status. Inspired by such a habit, he inserted an illustration showing his tongue with his mouth wide open on the cove. This straightforward design can convey the meaning easily and clearly to the reader.

Another example of an abstract design is the design of Diet Coke. It is a design that is utilized so that the public can recognize it as Diet Coke even with a minimum of letters using the universal design elements, red font, gray background.

It is interesting that the way people understand the design differs depending on the design method.

2.Kate Morros on breaking the rules and rebelling against polarities.

"Studio failure is cool like messing up is great like i have not. And if you work in a team, you get to share your failures which makes your team stronger."

"Just one like most important thing is not to be afraid and not to be scared and just don't have fear of affects your own self-expression."

She suffered a wrist injury and was left with great hysteria at work. Nevertheless, she is not afraid of mistakes and failures, and has overcome the situation by sublimating it into a project by working with her injured hand proudly. I think the secret to her success is her confident attitude that is not afraid of failure.

How have these talks influenced your approach to designing your flag?

There are so many different ways to express yourself when making a flag that represents you. My flag, on the subject of potential, has chosen a way to provoke a question mark in readers. It will be an interesting work by imagining and inferring.
